Brad Smith grew up in Peterborough, Ontario– but his family roots are in the logging trade in the Pontiac region of Quebec. He has been a carpenter for 35 years, and while he builds homes for local families as his day job, his passion has always been working with wood. Ever since his grandfather gave him his first toolbox, Brad has done projects for family and friends. He is now proud to be able to offer his craftsmanship to you. Every table, charcuterie board, or cutting board is designed and built completely in-house from his shop in Orleans, Ontario.

All the products are made at Barc Woodworks using locally-sourced wood and Canadian suppliers for our finishing materials and metals.
